40th ANNIVERSARY New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival (JazzzFest) lineup announced.
Saturday, May 2, 2009: Jimmy LaRocca's Original Dixieland Jazz Band® to perform in Economy Hall.

New CD "Dixieland Jazz for Children" is listed on the first round of the 51st Grammy Awards ballot (NARAS).

On February 8, 2006 the Original Dixieland Jazz Band was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame for their 1917 recording of the “Darktown Strutter’s Ball.”
